Last Updated: 30/04/2025

2. Use of the Website

We’re all about making property fun, but we’ve got some ground rules. When using our Website, you agree to:

  • Play nice! Use our site legally and with respect.

  • No funny business: Don’t use our site for fraudulent, unlawful, or mischievous purposes.

  • Keep it safe: Don’t upload or share harmful stuff like viruses or malicious software. We’ve got enough to worry about without that!

  • Respect our rights: Don’t try to copy, hack, scrape, or otherwise misuse our content or systems.

In short, use the site for good vibes, not bad ones!

3. Our Services

We offer property-related services, including booking valuations, connecting you to mortgage advisors, and referring you to trusted partners. While we do our best to keep everything accurate, we can't guarantee that all third-party services are available, always up to date, or perfect. We trust our partners, but they do their own thing, and we’re not responsible for any issues that may arise from their services.

If you use our referral forms (see Clause 5), you give us permission to share your information with the relevant third-party service providers. We may also refer you to professionals such as mortgage brokers, solicitors, or estate agents to assist you.

4. Third-Party Links & Referrals

You’ll find links to third-party websites on our Website (e.g. social media platforms). These are there for your convenience, but we don’t control, endorse, or take responsibility for what happens over there. So, be sure to check out their terms and policies before you take the plunge.

Any referrals we make to third-party service providers are based on our honest belief that they can help you, but we cannot guarantee the quality, accuracy, or availability of their services.

5. Referral Forms & Personal Data

When you use our handy referral forms (for property valuations, mortgage advice calls, or advisor referrals), you’ll be sharing some personal details with us. By submitting your info, you’re giving us permission to pass that info along to the relevant third-party service providers. Don't worry - we handle your data with care and process it in line with our Privacy Policy.

And just so we’re clear, we might need to share your details with professionals like mortgage brokers, solicitors, and estate agents to help you with your property journey. If you fill out a form, that’s you giving us your consent to share the details with the pros!

6. Intellectual Property

Everything you see on our Website - from text to images to branding - is ours (or licensed to us). Please, no stealing or copying any of it without asking us first. If you want to use something, just ask us for consent - we’re all about sharing but want to make sure it’s done fairly and with a little Block & Brick love!

This includes our registered or unregistered trademarks, any third-party content licensed to us, and all the look and feel of our brand.

7. Disclaimers & Liability

Here’s the deal: the Website is provided "as is." We strive to keep everything running smoothly and up to date, but we can’t guarantee that everything will always be flawless.

We exclude all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent we are permitted by law, our liability to you will be limited to the greater of £50 or the amount you have paid us for services in the last 6 months. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage whatsoever.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the updated version right here on the Website. Your continued use of our site after the update means you’re on board with the new terms. If there are any major changes, we’ll shout about it, don’t worry.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, or for any other lawful reason. We will try to notify you in advance unless doing so would be unlawful or impractical.

10. Legal Stuff (a.k.a Boilerplate!)

Entire Agreement: These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us and override any prior agreements, discussions, or representations.

Waiver: If we don't enforce any part of these Terms straight away, it doesn’t mean we’re giving up our rights.

Severance: If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, the rest of the Terms will still apply.

Force Majeure: We’re not responsible for any delays or failures to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

No Partnership or Agency: Using the Website doesn’t make us partners, joint venturers, or agents of each other.

No Assignment: You can't transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written permission.

Third Party Rights: No one else (except you and us) can enforce these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

Notices: We may serve notices to you by email or post. You can contact us using the details in clause 1.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If any disputes arise (hopefully not!), they’ll be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
